White Oak ISD , White Oak, TX--While I can get into myspace.com with no trouble, they have flickr.com blocked. In essence, it takes the majority of the pictures off of myspace. Also, the NPR.org stream is blocked. Any streaming radio station is blocked. You know how disruptive NPR can be. We have recently started blocking all free sites as well. This is a road block to some great curriculum content from teachers using free hosting sites. (Sites are blocked by our educational service center.)

San Antonio ISD, San Antonio, TX--Initially blocked MySpace.com because it was being used to coordinate immigration walk-outs. When it was discovered that students were bypassing content filtering to get to MySpace.com, they banned the words "MySpace.com" This resulted in censorship of news sites and any site that mentions "MySpace.com". Flickr.com and other social networking sites are blocked as well.

Fort Worth ISD, Fort Worth, TX--Currently blocks all webmail in and out. Also blocks any blog type archive or a web address that has blogs somewhere in the structure (for example, my husband's blog is on the same space as where I put up web pages to use in class.)
